We’ve got something exciting to announce.
After our funding round earlier this summer, we’re today welcoming Linear Capital to our family of investors. The VC based out of Shanghai is leading a US$3M investment round, bringing our total funding raised this year to US$5M. Our existing investors Dymon Asia Ventures and Portag3 Ventures also participated in the latest round, as well as Hong Kong-based Sagamore Investments.
Linear Capital is an early stage venture focusing on tech-driven startups. The firm was founded by Facebook's early employee and first Chinese Engineering Manager Harry Wang, and former JD and Tmall executive Michael Zhang. Linear Capital has invested in over 40 startups in China (major focus), Silicon Valley and Southeast Asia.
With this new investment, we’re ready to take on the Chinese market. Today we are seeing more young enterprises from China venturing beyond their domestic market and we are excited to make our Neat Business product available to them.
Hong Kong is a logical choice for Chinese companies to set up and launch their international trading, and we believe we are well positioned to support these entrepreneurs in growing their international business.
We will use the new capital injection to focus on accelerating the release of new product features, attracting further talent to the team and getting our product ready for the Chinese market. Neat will also be leveraging Linear Capital’s expertise in data science to build a truly data-driven business, as well as tap into the VC’s deep expertise and wide network in the China market.
Would you like to join our journey? We’re hiring across all departments, and looking for a business development specialist to help us grow in China.
